Elizabeth leads the creative direction of Fabula(b)’s projects. She has a PhD in theatre from Northwestern University, where she researched audience interactivity in immersive theatre. At Northwestern, she was a Segal Design Research Council Fellow and a Leadership Fellow. Previously, she launched a theatre company at a restored blast furnace in Birmingham, Alabama. She has been a screenwriter and a film executive, and a teacher in public, private, and even Bronx prison schools. She has an MFA in dramaturgy from Columbia University and a BA in English and psychology from the University of Michigan.
