E. B. Hunter (Founder + Creative Director)
E. B. is a doctoral candidate in the Interdisciplinary PhD in Theatre and Drama at Northwestern University, where she researches audience interactivity in immersive theatre. At Northwestern, she is also a Segal Design Research Council Fellow and a Leadership Fellow. Before coming to Northwestern, she launched a theatre company at a restored blast furnace in Birmingham, Alabama. She has been a screenwriter and a film executive, and a classroom teacher for public, private, and even Bronx prison schools. She holds an MFA in dramaturgy from Columbia University and a BA in English and psychology from the University of Michigan.
Andrew Edwards (Music + Sound Design)
Andrew Edwards is a Chicago-based film and media composer. He is the founder of the Blue Police Box Music studio and an adjunct professor of film and game music at Columbia College Chicago. Edwards earned his MFA in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago and his BA in Music Composition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His music and sound design credits span video games, feature narrative and documentary films, original audio dramas for the BBC, original orchestral music at the Kennedy Center, and radio broadcasts on WBEZ. Don Herweg (Design + Programming Lead)
Don Herweg is a senior at DePaul University in game development with a concentration in gameplay programming. He is skilled in C++, C#, Swift, and Visual Studio, with extensive experience in Unity and Perforce. Recent credits include the Shakespeare combat side-scroller Something Wicked. He has also worked on the design and programming elements for two social change transmedia games: RESPECT Bluelight, an adventure platformer created in collaboration with elementary schools in Englewood, and A Moment Free from Darkness, played sequentially across four different platforms, which was featured at Indie Prize and BitBash.
Diana Kogan (Art + Animation)
Diana Kogan holds a BS in Game Art & Animation from Depaul University. She is experienced in Unity, Mudbox, and AfterEffects, with particular expertise in Photoshop and Maya. Most recently, she was an artist on the 3D story-based adventure therapeutic game Soteria, designed to teach users about anxiety disorders. Nick Segreti (Project Manager + Design + Programming)
Nick Segreti holds a BS from DePaul University in game development with a focus in gameplay programming. He is skilled in C++, C#, Python, Unity, and Unreal with extensive experience in Maya, 3ds Max, and VR development for the Oculus Rift. Paul Sullivan (Technical Artist + Animator)
Paul Sullivan holds a MA in Animation from DePaul University. He has worked on a variety of games in both the 2D and 3D realms for PC and mobile platforms. He is proficient in Unity, Spine, After Effects, and Flash, with particular emphasis on Maya, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Recently he has worked on Speech Up (AI-based speech therapy mobile gaming platform for children), Something Wicked (Shakespearean side-scrolling brawler), and Blood Myth (mobile platformer exploring the difficulties of Sickle Cell anemia and encouraging patient health management).
